Junior Group Leader Internship

Internships Malta is offering a live-in Junior Group Leader internship with an accredited English language school. You will help run the Junior Programme, supervising and entertaining young students in the residence and on activities.

Group Leader duties

• Help deliver the Junior Programme and lead the daily activity schedule
• Supervise and communicate with minors on cultural and leisure activities to ensure safety and fun
• Reside at the Junior Residence (Bella Vista Hotel, Qawra) for the duration of the programme
• Assist the Junior Programme Manager with administrative duties
• Prepare venues for activities and ensure props and stock are ready
• Respond to minor emergencies and answer the emergency phone when on duty

Requirements

• Minimum B2 level English; additional languages an asset
• Positive can-do attitude, strong team ethic and leadership skills
• Previous experience working with minors is required
• Experience or study in event management or child-care an asset

Practical details

• 40-hour week on a rotating shift system, with on-call/stand-by time
• Complimentary full-board accommodation provided at the Junior Residence (no accommodation charge)
• A work phone is provided for business use
