Internships Malta has an internship in adult welfare within the education sector. We are looking for a responsible, driven person to look after the welfare of students while assisting the Operations Manager. The role covers students' arrival, stay and departure, and means working alongside welfare officers, residence supervisors, activity leaders and other interns to welcome students and see to their wellbeing during class, activities and in the residences. Minimum duration 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Leisure programme
- Promoting and selling leisure activities
- Helping to organise the leisure programme
- Creating new promotional material
- Attending activities with students, including evenings and weekends
- Administration
- Preparing welcome packs, student packs and student ID cards
- Checking books in and out of the library
- Customer care
- Helping students and answering their questions at the main reception
- Daily tasks that build your understanding of how the school runs
Requirements
- English at Upper Intermediate (B2) or higher
- First aid certification is a plus
- Friendly and helpful, with a positive attitude
